I miss the before this whole shitstorm happened. I miss when my boyfriend hadn't been shot and when I had hope my mom might actually not be a creepy inconsiderate basket case, and even when my dad wasn't around. Why? Because this isn't normal! And fuck if I don't miss normal.
Had breakfast AND lunch with my father and it's Father's Day, tell me how is this not fucked up? This isn't what we do, hell my dad might just be too fucking British to celebrate any day that's about affection. I can't be unfair and say I don't appreciate him being here still, or coming at all. But I miss the way things were the night before we got kidnapped, even though Blake made an ass of himself and things were only a little awkward.
The only good thing about the 'after' is Amadeus and even he is an annoying asshole with all the mind reading. Because one wasn't enough. Figures.
